Transform your pain into purpose through a revolutionary method where trauma becomes the raw material for your life’s work.

What if trauma isn't something to overcome, but something to transform?

Growth isn’t a science – it’s an art.
Through her ongoing journey of transforming childhood trauma via creative practice, Dr. Marion Piper explored a groundbreaking theory during her PhD research: what if creativity and posttraumatic growth are the same process?
Both take something challenging, process it through human ingenuity and resilience, and create something valuable. The main difference? Creativity produces tangible results you can see, where posttraumatic growth produces the intangible transformation within you.
This isn't theory. This is a proven method that literally transmutes pain into purpose.

Dr Marion Piper didn't just study posttraumatic growth… she continues to live it. Through her ongoing journey of transforming childhood trauma via creative practice, she developed a theory that creativity wasn't just helping her heal, it was the same process as posttraumatic growth itself. This personal insight led to groundbreaking PhD research (Southern Cross University, 2017) that explored how creativity and posttraumatic growth could be powerful transformative processes.
As both artist and researcher, Dr. Piper bridges lived experience with academic rigour. Her research represents the perfect fusion of creative practice and scholarly research, becoming the fertile soil she continues to grow from today.
With over 15 years in creative industries and partnerships with brands like Atlassian, FunLab, and CreativeMornings, Dr Maz now dedicates her expertise to teaching others how to transform trauma through creativity.

“There’s never been a better time to get creative. Even though it feels like the world is one big dumpster fire and there’s no point to any of it, let me tell you: it’s the small things that make the biggest difference. Understanding post-traumatic growth and activating it by getting creative is how you move the needle. The best part? You’re not alone anymore. I’m here and we’re going for broke!”
